You or someone you know may be thinking about going to therapy but are unsure if it will help. This may be either because you didn't find it helpful before, or you are uncomfortable talking about yourself. I recommend giving Art Therapy a try. Art Therapy is a therapeutic way to work through emotional, psychological, and interpersonal issues through a creative process that is guided by the Art Therapist. Studies show it is helpful for anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD, and so much more. Many studies show that art is medicine. For many years I have recommended Art Therapy to people I thought would especially benefit from it. But I never had an Art Therapist to refer them to. Art Therapists are hard to find here in New Jersey. I am happy to say that the Licensed Professional Counselor and Art Therapist, Lauren Fallat, LPC ATR-BC will be joining Holistic Health Counseling Center this June. I am particularly excited about this because Lauren is kind, compassionate, and a highly skilled, experienced Therapist. Lauren will be providing Counseling and/or Art Therapy to adults, children, teens, and college students. If you are interested in trying Art Therapy or prefer to stick to traditional Psychotherapy, Lauren will be available beginning in June. You can book an appointment now to see her by clicking on the Book Now button. Select Lauren as your therapist. There you will see her availability. If you have any questions, please give us a call or send an email: info@hhccnj.com or 908-857-4422. I have also written about Art Therapy on my other website, see here: Art Therapy is Medicine Check out Lauren's profile on our website here: Lauren Fallat, LPC ATR-BC
